The British Daily Mirror reported the Russia Secret agent FSB arrested suspected ISIS recruiters and couriers.

The newspaper said at least 17 raids were carried out across Moscow just a few months before the football world cup.

The FSB said the arrested men and women had hundreds of fake passports, registrations cards and credit cards with them.

ISIS, a Middle East-based terrorist group, attacked in several western countries in the last year after it began to lose its ground in Iraq and Syria.

The arrested women, as FSB alleged, are used as couriers to send people from Russia to Syria and Iraq.

Mirror reported, “the FSB believe it has smashed a major route to feed ISIS forces with raw ‘cannon fodder’ recruits who may not understand the dangers.”

After the raids, FSB said in a joint statement with the Russian Police, “Sixty foreigners were detained.

“17 apartments were searched, and we discovered three laboratories for making fake documents”.

ISIS, a Middle East-based terrorist group, attacked in several western countries in the last year after it began to lose its ground in Iraq and Syria.

In Syria and Iraq, they captured lands in size almost as big as the United Kingdom which they lost the under joint attack from the government of Iraq, the U.S. and the Kurdish forces.

After Iraqi forces recaptured the lands from ISIS grips, it began to lose grounds in Syria as well. The group is now at its weakest condition with little influence in the Syrian conflict zones.
