Tens of thousands of nationalists and fascists have taken to the streets on Saturday to attend the annual “Independent March” under “We want God” banner in Poland’s Warsaw.

The white supremacist nationalists have been over the rise in the European countries over the last few years.

The white supremacist and the fascists have been outspoken against immigration and defined themselves as anti-Muslims.

The anti-immigrant, anti–Muslims activists participated in the so-called  Independent March to ‘defend Catholicism’ and fight against ‘liberal European elites.’

The chairman of the Independence March association, Robert Bakiewicz, said during a recent press conference, “We are recalling the fighting church, which for centuries was the keystone and fundament of Europe”, he said. “We want to show Catholicism not as a faith of weakness, but as a faith of strong people”.

On Friday, another far-right All-Polish Youth and National Radical Camp groups held a conference on “the vision after the collapse of the West, that is, the old world in the post-European Union era … social and economic changes and the shock of the future”.

Social Media has gone through a storm with #IndependenceMarch tweets about Warsaw march. The supporters and the critics of the march have been actively sharing their views on Twitter.

Expressing support for the Warsaw Independent March, @BasedPoland tweeted two days before the march took place, “ in will take place in two days on November 11th. 150 000 and expected to flood the streets to celebrate our country regaining independence after being occupied for 123 years.”

In the same manner, the people concerned with the rise of nationalists and fascists in Eupore have been vehemently criticised the march.

“The western and Christian version of ISIS is showing strength in  tweeted Mashkur Alam.

The rise of neo-Nazis and nationalists all across Europe and America has been of great concern in the western world. In the last few elections, many countries including the U.S. voted for conservative candidates in the national elections.
